The black man behind the trending and widely used weeping meme has finally opened up about what kept him in such a condition.
Speaking, the young man narrated that on a fateful day, his grandma gave him N200 to buy garri but on his way, he met some gamblers and decided to try his luck.
According to him, he and his Friend began playing dice with the men winning and losing some unfortunately, at the end of the day, he lost all his money.
Upon discovering that he had nothing left, he began weeping bitterly thinking that the gamblers will sympathize with him and give him back his money.
He added that he knew his grandma was going to deny him food for two days and that added to his sorrow.
He concluded by stating that he doesn’t know how the photo surfaced online.
Today, the meme is used by a lot of social media users to explain certain situations without necessarily typing.
He said:
