Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy has allegedly paid tribute to Mrs. Jane Dolapo Balogun, the mother of the Grammy winning artist, Wizkid, who passed away recently.

DAILY GIST HUB recalls that Mrs. Balogun died on Friday.

Shortly after her death was announced, celebrities and elites have flooded the social media space with condolence messages to singer, Wizkid and his family.

However, the African Giant took it to a new level after pausing his set at the Afronation Fest in Detroit, United States, to pay tribute to the late Mrs. Balogun.

Burna Boy commanded the crowd to observe a minute silence for the late mother of the Starboy boss, before proceeding to sing a line from his collaborative song with Wizkid, ‘Ginger.’
