PCAI expressed concern over attempts by unidentified individuals to tarnish Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo’s reputation by falsely associating him with the scandal. However, records showed that he resigned from a company long before his appointment as Minister.
Emphasizing Hon. Tunji-Ojo’s achievements in office, including overseeing the clearance of passport backlogs and implementing reforms in the Ministry of Interior, PCAI emphasized his dedication to public service.
