Nigerians should pray for Tinubu – Ex-Zamfara gov, Yari tells Muslims

Former Zamfara State Governor, Abdul’aziz Yari, has called on every Muslims in Nigeria to pray for the new President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, during the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

 

The Ex governor made the announcement while addressing newsmen at his residence in Talata-Mafara town, Talata-Mafara area of the state.

 

He also urged all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe and regional differences, to pray for Tinubu to succeed.

 

According to Yari: “We should pray for Allah’s guidance and support for our president-elect to execute meaningful development for Nigerians.

 

We believe in Tinubu, we are confident of his capacity to build Nigeria.

He further appealed to members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to be calm and law-abiding.

 

Yari urged residents of the state to support the state government.

 

I am using this medium to call on people of the state to continue to support the government at all levels and security agencies toward addressing security challenges.

 

Authorities should be allowed to do their jobs toward addressing security challenges facing our communities,” Yari said.
