Ifeoma Amuche, a young Nigerian woman, has been crowned the highest graduating student at Chongqing’s South West University.
Amuche was chosen as the finest out of over 9,500 students to give a speech on behalf of all overseas students.
The young graduate revealed her victory on Twitter on Thursday, dedicating it to Nigeria and her hometown of Oko.
“I was chosen as the only international student out of 9500+ graduates to give a speech on behalf of all graduates; I’m so honored.”
“I’m here for Nigeria and my hometown of Oko,” she said on Twitter.
In response to Amuche’s accomplishment, the National Orientation Agency (NOA) stated that Nigerians bore signs of success all over the world.
