Controversies in NANS as 2023 convention produces 3 factional presidents

DAILY GIST HUB correspondence gathered that the recently held convention of the National Association Of Nigerian Students ( NANS) at Abuja has produced 3 fractional president and Senate President as the three major candidate of the NANS Presidential seat and offices of the Senate President has refused to accept one candidates as the winner as the three declares oneself winner in a different media conferences.

 

 

According to DAILY GIST HUB the NANS 2023 National convention was held last week in Abuja, Nigeria.

 

 

The three major NANS National presidential candidates identified as Lucky Emonefe, a student of the College of Education, Warri, Delta State and Pedro chibuzor Obi, a Ph.D. student of Guidance and Counseling studies at Delta State University and Rioborue Jude Deniran who contested for the office of the NANS president, said they were elected.

 

DAILY GIST HUB also gathered that Lucky Emonefe, who said he has emerged as NANS president in a credible election appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to approve a national annual Bursary of 200,000 to all Nigerian students irrespective of their creed or tribe.

 

He said the Fund will act as palliative to cushion the effects of the hard economic situation occasioned by certain economic reforms of President Tinubu’s administration.

 

Also, Rioborue Jude Deniran, who also claimed to be President-Elect of NANS called on the Department of State Security to give a report of the 2023 elective convention of NANS as the world is eager to know.

 

Pedro Chibuzor Obi also called on the present administration to ensure that the student loan scheme is properly coordinated to achieve its intention.

And also the two major candidates of the NANS National senate president identified as Elvis Ekundina and Akinteye Babatunde afeez popularly known as ( BABTEE ) has also refused to bow for one as the two can be seen in a different viral clips declaring oneself as the winner at a separate media conferences in Abuja.
