OPEN LETTER TO OGITECH MANAGEMENT AND GOVERNING COUNCIL

We bring alutarian greetings from the students’ constituency

We write this open letter to make a request as well appeal to both the management team and the governing council

The Americans in their wisdom have an idomatic expression which goes thus; “A stitch in time saves nine

We want to actively draw the attention of the management and the council to the warning issued by the staff union of the institution. The warning issued entails in it a possible three(3) days industrial action by ASUP. It is pertinent to note that the actualisation of the impending industrial action would definitely affect the semester and Futher prolong an already overstretched semester. A semester which have seen Election activities in the country and other circumstances led to an overstretched and elongated semester, we make our request to avoid further crise

We are using this medium to appeal to the management to attend to the agitations of the staff union so that Examinations for HND 1 and ND 1 Students can commence as schedule as we don’t want anything delaying the Examination process of the semeste

We are openly pleading to the management, governing council and other stakeholders to please give listening ears to our staffs and avoid prolonging the academic calendar for this semeste

It is important to note that the staffs of our Institution are very important and cogent as their relevance in ensuring the success of any academic year cannot be overemphasized, thus we are pleading the hierarchy of the institutio

We are specially pleading to the council to take swift action and respond quickly to the demands of ASUP OGITECH Chapter and avoid the impending industrial action to ensure we have a smooth semester runnin

We anticipate a favourable course of action as we believe the management and governing council would listen deligently to our plea and avoid further prolonging our semester

Where two(2) Elephants fights, the grass suffers i

We strongly appeal again to the Council to please attend to our lecturers demand before it is too late.
