Asake reveals why he mostly sings in Yoruba language

Popular Nigerian and songwriter, Ahmed ololade popularly known as Asake has spoken out on why Yoruba language is an essential part of his music and why he mostly sings in the language.

 

In a recent interview with NewsLive Prime, Asake reveals that Yoruba language is very important to him.

 

He said that a lot of people who listen to his songs understand the language.

 

Asake also added that he believes that music goes beyond the lyrics and for him, it is the feeling it evokes that matters.
